Name reservation opens October 27: who can join and how it works

From October 27 to November 3 you can create up to three characters per account ahead of launch. Not everyone, though: only upgrade-pack buyers.

If you want to lock in your guild's names or the character name you've used for years, the date is set: early name reservation starts October 27 and runs until November 3. During that window you can create up to three characters per account and fully customise them.

Who's eligible? Only accounts that bought the Skyborne Heroic Pack, the Skyborne Epic Pack or the Warcraft Forever Collection. Beta access alone doesn't count, and the reservation only applies to the WoW account you bought Forever on.

Names now have two parts: a first name and a second name. Either part can be shared with other players, but the full combination has to be unique in your region. And it's first come, first served.

The game launches on November 4 at 3:00 p.m. Pacific, which is 02:00 on November 5 in Turkey. Europe and North America go live at the same moment.
